It may have some cool editing effects, but they become disorientating after a while and the film just seems to keep trying to be visually splendid. The story is about a drug that makes your whole brain accessible, causing you to have a massive IQ. However, it has its drawbacks later on. Bradley Cooper plays a wasteful idiot who ends up on this drug and works his way up on the business ladder. The story is okay, but hardly believable. “Limitless” is a little mediocre but in a way is a good action drama worth a one-time viewing.
American Psycho (2000)
Christian Bale plays remarkably well as the psychotic business nutcase in a film at overlooks the psychological state through its visual storytelling. “American Psycho” may be weak in several points, such as inconsistency and absurdity, but as a black comedy/horror satire, it is a widely frantic and fun film. Bale is unforgettable and comedic and is what makes this film so enjoyable."American Psycho" is strange and seems to break away from reality at points but what a fun ride it takes you on.
My Rating: 7/10
